Refund Policy

Overview

This policy covers refunds and cancellations for benchmark services provided by Filehemlockcore Mining Review Co., Ltd. We do not sell physical products or subscriptions through this website.

Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

You are eligible for a full refund if:

• We cancel your scheduled benchmark due to lab equipment failure or staff unavailability
• Your hardware arrives damaged in transit due to our ship-in kit packaging defect (documented with photos within 24 hours of receipt)
• We are unable to complete testing because the unit fails to power on and the issue is unrelated to prior client modifications

Partial Refund

A partial refund (50% of the service fee) applies if:

• Your unit fails to reach stable hashrate within 30 minutes due to a pre-existing hardware defect unrelated to our handling
• You cancel after hardware receipt but before the benchmark run begins

No Refund

Refunds are not available for:

• Completed benchmark reports, including cases where results differ from manufacturer specifications
• Pre-purchase screenings that produce a “fail” result — the service was performed as described
• Expedited turnaround fees once the run has started
• Ship-in kit fees after the kit has been dispatched
• On-site assessments after the assessor has arrived at your facility
• Client-initiated cancellation after the benchmark run has begun

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Before hardware receipt: Cancel at no charge by emailing info@filehemlockcore.click.

After hardware receipt, before run: 50% cancellation fee applies to cover intake, storage, and scheduling costs.

After run begins: No cancellation or refund.

Rescheduling is free if requested at least 2 business days before the scheduled run date. One reschedule per booking is included; additional reschedules incur a ₩50,000 administrative fee.

Deposits

We do not require deposits for standard benchmark services. Payment is invoiced after hardware receipt and due before report release. For on-site assessments requiring travel beyond 200 km, a 30% travel deposit may be requested and is refundable if we cancel the visit.

No-Shows

If you miss a scheduled lab drop-off appointment without notice, we hold your slot for 3 business days. After that, the booking is cancelled and a ₩30,000 rebooking fee applies.

Work Already Started

Once the 4-hour benchmark run or 90-minute screening begins, the service is considered delivered regardless of outcome. This includes cases where the unit underperforms, fails mid-run, or produces results the client finds unfavorable.

Purchased Materials

Ship-in kits (₩35,000) are non-refundable once dispatched. If unused, kits may be returned within 14 days for a ₩20,000 credit toward a future service.

Refund Process

1. Email info@filehemlockcore.click with your invoice number and reason for the refund request.
2. We review within 3 business days and respond with approval or explanation.
3. Approved refunds are processed via bank transfer to the original payment account within 10 business days.

Hardware Return

Refunds do not include shipping costs for returning your hardware. Units are returned via the same method they arrived unless you arrange alternative collection.

Exceptions

We may make exceptions for documented errors on our part (e.g., testing the wrong unit, reporting incorrect data due to analyzer malfunction). Such cases are reviewed individually by Min-seok Choi.
